The Nottingham-based company today announced that it has signed its 1000th customer, and that over 100 new customers are signing up to use its market-leading service every month.
The 1000th customer is Overview Mapping Ltd. It has integrated Esendex's SMS SDK as part of its location based services under the VeriLocation brand, one of the UK's largest mobile phone and fleet tracking providers in the UK.
And the good news for Esendex goes even further. Not only is the company attracting scores of new customers every month, but those companies using the service are also sending more messages than ever before.
This year, the number of 'texts' being sent by the average customer has increased by over 35 per cent over the same period.
Esendex now handles more than two million SMS messages every month, and many of its customers are using the technology for business-critical communications.
