EIC Northern, the Yorkshire-based northern office of leading mechanical and electrical specialist, EIC, is set to move to larger premises in Ferrybridge before Christmas to accommodate an expanding team.
Currently based in Pontefract, the new office is strategically placed at the intersection of the A1 and M62, the two primary arterial routes in the North of England. The new office will give the staff double the floor space they are accustomed to, to make room for what has been a 40% increase in staff in the last 12 months alone.
The northern office opened its doors five years ago supporting EIC's pledge to its clients to deliver its services as a local national contractor. The region has since maintained a healthy year on year growth reflecting a steady rise in the level of mechanical and electrical work retained by the company throughout the North of England.
The mechanical side of the business was strengthened last year when EIC appointed a mechanical contracts manager to oversee the region's building services contracts. Since then further appointments have followed as the team has grown to accommodate both new and existing clients.
Joint managing director of EIC, Nigel Le Marechal comments: "This move is a reflection of the team's successes. Each individual has played a part in helping us to grow the business in the North and the bigger office is a result of hard work and commitment. We're in the middle of a total refurbishment of the new office but look forward to being in before Christmas so we can quite fittingly celebrate out with the old, in with the new."
EIC Northern's clients include Debenhams, Asda, Tesco, Gala Leisure, JJB Sports, the Macdonalds Hotel Group, Bupa, North Yorkshire County Council, Styles & Wood, Simpson Shopfitting, Morris & Spottiswood and Dew Construction.
