Manchester's fastest-growing commercial law firm, Beachcroft Wansbroughs, has been appointed to a select panel of legal experts working with the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA). Following a rigorous tender procedure, the firm is one of six appointed by the NWDA to provide legal services as diverse as employment, commercial property and litigation. Beachcroft already works closely with the Agency's HR department on employment issues and won the Manchester Enterprise account in September of this year.

As part of its tender submission, the firm demonstrated a broad range of integrated services, rather than specialising in one particular area. This reflects Beachcroft Wansbroughs' nationwide policy of developing holistic legal solutions based on specific sector or industry experience and delivered locally.

Commenting on the win, Manchester's Regional Senior Partner Iain Moore said: "This is excellent news for Beachcroft and a true reflection of the firm's business philosophy. In addition to leading edge legal expertise, we believe we can add value by offering an indepth understanding of our clients' businesses. The logical extension of that is to provide access to all our commercial services as the clients' requirements change. My congratulations to property partner Robert Moss who led the bid and everyone else on the tender team."

Other firms invited onto the panel include Eversheds, Hammonds, Mace and Jones, Forshaws and Platt and Fishwick.

The Manchester team forms part of Beachcroft Wansbroughs' national employment practice, which consists of over 50 lawyers across four offices. Short-listed for 'Employment Team of the Year' in 2005, the national practice has handled over 700 cases within the last 12 months, including the largest single test case in employment tribunal history.
