EIC is launching "EIC High Voltage Services", an autonomous division set up to cater for large corporate end-users as well as other mechanical and electrical contractors.
Mechanical and electrical expert, EIC has had the capacity to undertake specialist HV work for over three years, but only decided to set up an independent division six months ago in order to test the market.
Having now provided services for an array of clients, including Tesco, Asda, British Gas, IBM, Johnson Controls, 24/7, HM Government -Project ISIS, Warwickshire Police Force, Warwick College, Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Dudley Hospitals PFI and Birmingham New Hospitals PFI, the team is confident that the time is right to officially launch.
Nigel Le Marechal, joint managing director of EIC, comments: "This is a highly skilled service offering and so we have proceeded with caution whilst growing the team and pitching for new business. By acting independently, the division is able to offer a specific service to our competitors as well as our clients so we can offer a stand-alone service and a turnkey operation.
"I'm delighted that we have made an impact across a variety of sectors and that we are now winning repeat business from clients who are impressed by the high standard of our service offering."
EIC High Voltage Services specialises in all aspects of high voltage electrical systems, from cable jointing and termination through to complete design, installation and commissioning of services up to 33kV.
The team consists of a group of highly trained, focused individuals who possess a thorough knowledge of all aspects of high and low voltage distribution systems and have experience of working in a wide range of environments.
