Manchester-based chartered accountants RSM Robson Rhodes have strengthened their corporate recovery team with the appointment of Ian Richardson from their Leeds office.
Ian returned to the UK last year to join RSM Robson Rhodes after 17 years working in Australia and New Zealand. He now moves to the Manchester office as director of the corporate recovery team.
Ian has over 15 years’ corporate recovery experience in both the UK and Australasia. His experience in corporate recovery has covered travel, hotels, leisure, retail, engineering and the transport industry.
His experience in Australia was mainly with a big four practice, including a year long secondment to Australia’s largest bank. Ian also spent some time in financial management roles in the hospitality and entertainment industries, and as a consultant to the Travel Compensation Fund, Australia’s travel industry regulator.
Ian’s appointment is welcomed by corporate recovery partner David Riley, who commented: “Ian’s arrival will significantly strengthen the Manchester team and will contribute to the longer-term strategy of developing the firm’s corporate recovery practice in the North West.”
