Beachcroft LLP is bringing the major European commercial and litigation practices to Manchester, with the launch of a new International Practice Group, which will offer multi-jurisdictional legal and regulatory advice to clients across the North West.

Staffed by experienced, dual qualified lawyers, the new International Practice Group provides an operational response to the growth in the firm's multi-national clients in recent years. Each International Practice Group is headed by a jurisdiction-qualified lawyer, namely Nathalie Moreno for France, Andreas Klug for Germany, Fiammetta Amendola for Italy, Javier Ordonez-Cobo for Spain, Nicolas Pourbaix for Belgium and Julie Nazerali for EU and Competition. This new integrated legal service will provide clients with direct access to the legal and regulatory environments of each of these European countries and a unique conduit for technical advice and information, efficiently supported by the firm's international network of partner law firms.

Commenting on the new service, Regional Senior Partner Iain Moore said: "This is an excellent added value service for many clients who are operating across Europe. We will now not only be able to advise on specific points of law, we will also be able to put clients in direct contact with qualified lawyers 'on the ground'. Through our programme of alliances, 'best friend' relationships and our own network of offices, we can provide an unrivalled breadth of experience and advice. Our competitors may offer links to affiliated law firms overseas, but few - if any - can have such a highly skilled team in-house which is qualified in so many European jurisdictions.

"As a national firm, we already operate national sector-based teams to give clients a more informed service - now we'll be able to operate a similar service across Europe and EMEA at large."

Beachcroft recently moved to LLP status, as part of the firm's move towards greater transparency and commercialisation. The new International Practice Group is just part of a raft of 'added value' service offerings expected to roll out across all regional offices during the next 12 months.
