PROPERTY PARTNER PUT THROUGH HIS PACES
Mark Pattison, a consultant with the commercial property department at Beachcroft LLP, will certainly 'be prepared' when he leads the Disley Explorer Scout group through the 10km Great Manchester Run on 21 May.
Previously known as Beachcroft Wansbroughs, Beachcroft LLP is showing its support for both the cause and the local troop by sponsoring the nine scouts who are tackling the run as part of their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Pattison has been the group's Explorer Scout leader since January 2004. "With the support of the firm, the boys and girls have been training hard for this event since January and are really looking forward to taking part," he says. "The Great Manchester Run has given them something to aim for and the group is relishing the challenge.
"Both the Scout movement andThe Duke of Edinburgh Award are excellent ways for young people to try something new and improve their skills and Beachcroft is delighted to show its support for these young people and to help them achieve their goals."
Beachcroft converted to a Limited Liability Partnership on 1 May 2006 to ensure greater transparency and commercialisation of the firm. The Manchester team currently includes 19 partners and 200 staff. Its partners have particular expertise and experience in commercial property, injury/risk, professional indemnity, corporate/commercial and employment law.
