TERCA SPECIFIES NEW SALES ROLE
Terca is strengthening its position in the architectural specifier market with the appointment of Alan Gordon as Specification Sales Manager. With over 16 year's experience in this sector, including eight years as an architectural technician, Alan is responsible for promoting Terca's full product range to specifiers throughout London and the South East.
David Simpson, Wienerberger's national sales director, comments: "Alan's role further enhances our sales position in the South East and signals our commitment to strengthening our relationship with architects. Alan will utilise his extensive technical knowledge to demonstrate the benefits of our bricks and how they can be used most effectively in building projects of all kinds."
Speaking about his new role, Alan said: "I'm delighted to be working for a company which is showing significant investment in the British clay facing brick market. This is a very consultative role that will allow me to work closely with specifiers and ensure that Terca is more involved at the design stage of projects.
"I'm really looking forward to developing the Terca brand in this sector and to contributing towards the company's future success. Although I'm going to be based in London and the South East initially, there is potential for this role to develop and expand across the country."
Terca is the brand name for Wienerberger's clay facing brick range. Manufactured from nine quality assured UK manufacturing plants, the range includes approximately 200 products available in a wide variety of colours and textures.
