Oswestry’s Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt (RJAH) specialist orthopaedic hospital is offering a brand new service from today - a private physiotherapy clinic which can be accessed without referral.
The clinic, which will be open from 5.00pm - 7.00pm on Monday and Thursday’s, will have a dedicated team of chartered physiotherapists who will be able to treat back and neck disorders, fractures and post-surgical conditions, sports and soft tissue injuries and arthritic problems. The RJAH has an international reputation and as such, the physiotherapists are amongst the best in their field, working at the cutting edge of rehabilitation.
Physiotherapy manager for RJAH, Gill Pitcher, comments: “We are delighted to be able to offer this new service which members of the public can access without being referred by their GP or consultant. I would however like to make it clear that our NHS patients won’t be affected in any way whatsoever and our first class service for these patients will continue as normal. Anyone coming to us for private physio treatment will be able to make use of our superb facilities including our specially equipped gym, hydrotherapy pools and fitness suite. We hope the new service will prove to be a big success and that patients will be pleased to have another option available to them for receiving treatment.”
The range of treatments on offer will include:
· Exercise and fitness programmes
· Muscle balance and core stability
