Koramic is strengthening its business development team with the appointment of Steve Wearne as area sales manager. With over ten years' sales experience, including three years in the clay roofing tile industry, Steve is responsible for promoting Koramic's full range of clay roofing tiles to architects, specifiers and developers across the North of England, North Wales, the West Midlands and Scotland.

Speaking about his new role, Steve said: "As well as building relationships with our existing customers, I'm going to be speaking to new developers and specifiers to raise awareness of the Koramic brand and the versatility of our products. I'm keen to establish the strengths of the Koramic brand and how our clay roof tiles can provide a cost-effective, aesthetically pleasing solution for all kinds of building projects.

"This is a very hands on role which will allow me to get out on the road and meet with potential and existing customers face to face. I am delighted to be working for a company which is showing considerable investment in the UK clay roofing sector."

With a 120-year pedigree, Koramic is the brand name for Wienerberger's range of clay roof tiles. Available through specialist distribution centres, roofing merchants and selected builders' merchants across the UK, all Koramic tiles are tested to BS EN 1304.
