In response to its rapid growth in the UK, Koramic- the roofing tile brand of specialist clay manufacturer Wienerberger- has appointed Ray Sciberras, as area sales manager.

With over eight years' experience in the clay roofing tile sector, Ray will be responsible for developing relationships with existing customers and promoting Koramic's extensive range of clay roof tiles to specifiers, roofing contractors, and merchants throughout Greater London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and South Essex.

Speaking about his new role Ray said: "I am relishing the opportunity to promote the Koramic brand throughout the roofing and building industry. My aim is to help make Koramic the first choice for clay roofing products in the UK."

Ray is the third person to join the Koramic business development team within the last six months in line with the company's plans to increase its product range and enhance its distribution network in the UK.
