Beachcroft continues to boost Leeds employment team

In line with an increasing demand for employment law advice across Yorkshire, Beachcroft LLP has recruited a further two new solicitors to its Leeds-based team.

Catherine Bearpark joins the commercial law firm from Ford & Warren Solicitors and Nina Dale from Addleshaw Goddard. Their arrival means that Beachcroft's Leeds employment team is now one of the largest in the city with 15 specialist solicitors and partners.

Speaking about her new role, Catherine said: "As a Leeds graduate, I was looking for a large, local firm and Beachcroft provided the ideal opportunity. It's great to be part of a growing team and a firm which is going from strength to strength both regionally and nationally."

"I think a growing number of new solicitors are looking for opportunities outside of London," adds Nina. "This new role has ensured I can specialise in employment law at a leading firm, and stay in my home town, which has always been an important consideration for me."

Both Catherine and Nina will be responsible for providing strategic and operational advice on a range of human resources issues, including discrimination, equal opportunities, TUPE, and trade union and industrial relations.

The Leeds team has grown from strength to strength over the last three years and acts for a significant number of NHS Trusts in the area, as well as a growing number of corporate clients and high street names. It forms part of Beachcroft's national employment practice of over 65 lawyers across four locations. Short-listed for 'Employment Team of the Year' in 2005, the national practice has handled over 700 cases within the last 12 months, including the largest single test case in employment tribunal history.
