ISG Dean+Bowes has won one of the UK's most prestigious health and safety awards, with a Gold Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
This is the second consecutive year in which the company has received a Gold Award for Occupational Health & Safety, clearly demonstrating its commitment to achieving the highest possible health and safety standards across all areas of the business.
"This is an excellent achievement and one of which everyone at ISG Dean+Bowes can be justifiably proud," commented ISG Dean+Bowes MD Jim Parker. "To win a Gold Award requires hard work and sustained commitment from all members of the team. To do it once is brilliant, to win it two years in a row is just a fantastic achievement as it is the highest quality endorsement for not only our systems and processes, but the implementation of health and safety standards across the organisation."
ISG Dean+Bowes believes that a first-class health and safety record can only be achieved by all employees taking full responsibility for delivery. The company deliberately ensures that health and safety considerations that not just meet, but exceed legal requirements, are at the forefront of its fit-out and refurbishment solutions.
RoSPA Awards Manager David Rawlins applauded the company's approach, saying: "ISG Dean+Bowes have demonstrated how seriously they have taken health and safety management and are a fine example to many other companies. We would like to see more organisations follow their lead."
The Award will be formally presented to ISG Dean+Bowes at the RoSPA Awards Ceremony in Birmingham next month.
