Beachcroft grows leading health and safety team
Following an increase in demand for health and safety legal advice
across the region, Beachcroft has appointed two new solicitors to its
specialist safety, health and environment (SHE) practice in Leeds.

The 32-strong team - which is one of the largest in Leeds - manages
injury claims ranging from minor to catastrophic, including related
issues such as policy coverage, HSE and police investigations and
prosecutions for corporate and insurance clients.

Sarah Baker joins from Praxis Partners in Leeds and Jeremy Bennett from
London-based Burrells.

Speaking about his new role, Jeremy said: "As the largest legal centre
outside London, I was happy to relocate to Leeds, particularly as
Beachcroft is so well known for its strong personal injury team. Working
here will ensure I can gain greater experience of higher value cases,
employers' liability and health and safety law."

Sarah added: "I moved to Beachcroft as I wanted to work for a national
firm with a good reputation. Beachcroft's defendant personal injury
practice in Leeds is listed as number one in Legal 500, so was an ideal
