Since Gary appeared on the television show last year, Warrington-based Alpine Cleaning has gone from strength to strength. The company installs 'wash stations' at motorway services for cleaning HGVs, and recently merged with the LPW group.
Building on a four-year relationship, technology partner Pauline Cowie is now advising Gary on franchise agreements for new truck wash sites across the UK.
"I contacted LPW as I was looking to grow the business at a much quicker rate," said Gary. "The merger has been a great success and we have already opened 20 new sites at service stations up and down the country. Our target is 40 by the end of this year, so we are well on the way to achieving this.
"Our aim is to organise a management franchise at every site and Pauline is playing a vital role in ensuring these agreements are developed quickly and efficiently. Long term, I am also planning to set up a separate franchise recruitment company and Beachcroft will be a key link in this development."
Pauline commented: "It's fantastic to have helped play a part in Gary's success. I've been advising him on all stages of the company's expansion and suggested that he went on Dragons' Den. As recognised by 'the dragons' it's a great idea and I'm looking forward to supporting Gary with his future growth plans and business ideas."
Manchester-based Pauline Cowie specialises in national and international franchising. She also provides advice on commercial contracts, outsourcing, information technology, and e-commerce.
Gary has recently been filmed for a follow up programme to the Dragons' Den which is due to be broadcast at the end of this month.
