Koramic strengthens UK presence
Koramic - the clay roof tile brand owned by Wienerberger - is showing
its commitment to the UK market with the arrival of three custom-made
delivery vehicles. Branded with the Koramic logo, the fleet features the
latest technology to ensure that clay roof tiles are delivered quickly
and efficiently.

Two of the vehicles feature radio-controlled hydraulic forks to ensure
that pallets of roof tiles are offloaded efficiently and safely. The
third benefits from a specialist piece of equipment which enables two
pallets to be unloaded at a time to speed up the delivery process.

The new fleet is the latest development at Koramic's largest
distribution centre in Sittingbourne, Kent, and will be used throughout
the UK.

"These lorries have been built to our own specification and are purpose
made for delivering clay roof tiles," said Melvyn Smith, commercial
manager for Koramic. "We have sourced the latest handling equipment to
ensure fast and safe deliveries on a daily basis.

"Our presence in the UK continues to strengthen and we have invested
heavily in our Sittingbourne depot to ensure the highest standards of
service. The new liveried fleet is the next step in an exciting future
for Koramic clay roof tiles."
